Wade Deckard

There was so much much perfection with this film. I love Black’s Kiss Kiss Bang Bang but this for me was the next level; this was graduation day for Black. If I could recommend a film for 2016, The Nice Guys would be it. I am sure there are going to be some great Oscar bate films this coming winter, but looking at the slate, I can’t imagine anything beating it.

Simply put, there was just to much wrong with this film. Make me laugh and maybe make me cry a little; that is what a great heart felt comedy should do. If you can’t achieve that then stick to just making me laugh or just making me cry. Don’t try to be something you are not. For every great laugh I had, there were ten jokes that made me shake my head. McCarthy is hilarious with a good script but unfortunately this wasn’t one of them. I would wait for this one to be on television on a slow night.
